The stevia plant, traditionally used by indigenous South American populations, contains natural sweeteners called stevioside and rebaudioside. Stevia is 300 times sweeter than sugar (natural sugar substitute).
Stevia is ideal for diabetics as it helps regulate blood glucose levels. Stevia is also indicated in a good diet and process guidelines to achieve good health, as it reduces anxiety about food and the desire to eat sweets and fats. It does not contain calories.
It does not have:
Sugar, aspartame, saccharin, gluten.
Precautions: For pregnant women consult the Health Professional. Monitor their intake in people with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to stevia or to the daisy family (asteraceae/composite) as well as daisies, chrysanthemums, marigolds...
How to use: 1 tablet sweetens the equivalent of a teaspoon of sugar. Sweeten according to personal preference (herbal teas, milk, smoothies, tea, coffee...).
